essy

The hobby I like most is playing my guitar. My guitar very unique and beautiful because it is my favorite. The guitar was given to me by my mother for my seven tenth birthday. My uncle, who is an accomplish guitarist taught me how to play it. Now I can play a few simple tunes. I have even begun to sing while playing the guitar but I has not been too successful at this. My uncle tells me that all I need is a lot of practice and I should be able to it. He is very good at accompanying himself and I admire him very much.

Another hobby that I spend time on is keeping tropical fishes. I have a modest little glass aquarium where I keep a variety of little fishes. Some of them were bought from the shop while some of them were caught from the stream near where I live. They look so beautiful swimming about in the aquarium and I love to just watch them. It is very relaxing to do so. Even my uncle loves watching them.

However they do die and it is not very pleasant to have to remove the dead ones. Also it is quite a tedious job cleaning the aquarium. I have to do this whenever it gets dirty which is about once in two months.

There are other hobbies that I indulge in once in a while but they are not as interesting as the ones I have mentioned. There mentioned really keep me occupied and I am glad I am able to do them.

My favorite festival
My favorite festival is Naadam. Naadam, the traditional festival of Mongolia
Mongolian wrestling is purely a manly challenge. In these competitions more than 500 wrestlers participate from whole of Mongolia. This wrestling is fought in typical and traditional Mongolian style and it is comprised of 9-10 rounds. The wrestlers play the qualifying rounds which are held at the district levels and ultimately the winners emerge in the finals. The traditional wrestling costume consists of the shoulder vest (zodog) and the shorts (shuudag). The format of the finals is of knock-out type which is indeed very tough which requires lots of skills and excellence. The winning wrestlers get the titles like Falcons, Elephants, Lions and Giants.

The second fascinating game of Naadam festival is horse racing which is classified into six categories with horses being two, three, four and six years old. The distances are also determined in accordance with the age of the contesting horses. The traditional and folk music is played during the race.

Basically the skills of the horses are keenly observed in this traditional Mongolian derby and the horses are decorated in amusing ways.  These horses are also sprinkled with koumyss which is a kind of fermented mare’s milk. These horses are fed with very delicate diet and they go through very hard training sessions. The best five horses from every category achieve the title of airgiyn tav and the first three are rewarded with gold, silver, and bronze medals.
Women archers Naadam
The Archery is the final sports event of Naadam festival and it is comparatively less enthusiastic in the sense that it is attended mainly by the Mongolian states personals. The conventional bows and arrows are used by the participants in the contest which are prepared in the centuries old traditional way. Mongols enjoying the Nadaam festival

My favourite city.
Many people have their favourite city. I also have my favourite one. It\'s called Aberystwyth. It\'s on the west coast of Wales. It isn\'t big. I was there two years ago. The city is small but very nice.
Most part of the town is very old and has got many historical buildings, for example the ruins of the castle or the Local Folk Museum. The most interesting and attractive place in the whole town is definitely \"The Pier\". It is a massive, wooden construction going out towards the sea. That construction is a basement to a large building. Everyone can find something interesting for themselves there. There are an Indian Restaurant, a pub called \"The Pier\", a video-lending shop, a night-club, an ice-cream shop and the most important \"The Amusement\". \"The Amusement\" attracts both children and adults. You can do really everything there, for example: take part in a car race, play on different gambling machines or play computer games etc.
Aberystwyth has also an old harbour. There are always many boats and, of course, a small light house.
The town is situated on the hilly area. There are many fields around Aberystwyth and they are white with sheep. There aren\'t many forests around. There are many shops in the town. Customers can buy good-quality things. For example I bought a dress in one shop. I have been wearing it very often and washing it and it still looks like new.
It isn\'t an industrial city, so the air is very clean and if you want to keep fit you can go jogging on the promenade every day. But the best time for that is in the evening because then you can also admire the sunset and meet a lot of interesting people.

 ulaanbaatar city

So, let me give you ladies and gentlemen a few notes about me. I am real nomadic kazakh-mongolian coming from the western eagle-hunting part of Mongolia. After completing my Ph.D in Computer Science from Technical University in Darmstadt, Germany , I came back to work in Ulaanbaatar city (capital city) and while working, I was more and more convinced that I had to do that ‘MBA’.  Surely, many people told me why should I need another degree after completing my Ph.D, but I knew that despite all , I wanted to brush up my managerial skills – which is much needed in our newly booming economy. So,  after browsing through schools in USA and Europe – I came through Rotterdam School of Management. This was the one and only choice I had in my mind and I decided to stick to it. The reasons for choosing RSM were: 1. Holland – I visited Holland with my family in 2010 and we absolutely loved it. 2. RSM’s image as the best school for sustainable business. 3. Excellent choice of courses with focus on the technical parts of management – very useful for IT focused guys like me.4. Exchange program – was very appealing.
